  4. This filter allows Cumulus¬ to catalog images stored in the ╥CompuServe Graphics Interchange Format╙. It supports the versions GIF87a and GIF89a of the format specification. The file type is ╥GIFf╙.

  6. Only the first image is taken to create a thumbnail for the GIF file.
